While this is an overly simplified statement, it is a useful quantitative measure of the constructed world. Thus, it follows, that in quantitative thinking, architects should want to delve into the space types that inhabit most of our constructed world\u2019s square footage. In the United States, constructed retail area per person totals 31 square feet.
